Halloween at Swing 46

Rebecca Pridmore (www.loungegoddess.com) organized a Halloween costume party at Swing 46. She arranged for live music from The NYC Blues Devils (www.nycbluesdevils.com) and Double Down (www.doubledownswing.com). Both bands were great to dance to. They played music at a variety of tempos, so the attendees had opportunities to dance Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Shag and a little Foxtrot. The costumes were inventive. Nathan Bugh of Dance Manhattan taught a series of Charleston Variations in Lindy Hop. If you are looking for an entertaining dance instructor, Nathan could be what you are looking for. All in all, it was a great party, and at $20 per person it was a quite reasonable deal.
