Rebecca Pridmore ( www.loungegoddess.com) organized a Halloween costume party at Swing 46. She arranged for live music from The NYC Blues Devils ( www.nycbluesdevils.com) and Double Down ( www.doubledownswing.com). Both bands were great to dance to. They played music at a variety of tempos, so the attendees had opportunities to dance Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Shag and a little Foxtrot. The costumes were inventive. Nathan Bugh of Dance Manhattan taught a series of Charleston Variations in Lindy Hop. If you are looking for an entertaining dance instructor, Nathan could be what you are looking for. All in all, it was a great party, and at $20 per person it was a quite reasonable deal.
