• 7 weeks in a beach community

Orange Dance Studio SummerDance was founded by Mariel Hidary as a summer program to encourage girls to express themselves through Hip Hop / Pop dance, and to develop self-esteem and self-confidence in a nurturing, fun and energetic environment.

Mariel, a student at New York University, passed away in a tragic accident just days before the 2007 New Year, shortly after her 23th birthday. In her honor, the Hidary family and friends are committed to continuing the Orange Dance Studio and Mariel's dream to inspire young people through dance. Mariel brought light and joy to her hundreds of students and to the thousands who knew her.

We are seeking 1-2 Dance Teachers to lead the summer program. Applicants should be positive, enthusiastic motivators, equally talented in and passionate about dance and working with girls. The supporters of Orange Dance Studio are committed to making this a rewarding experience for the teacher(s) as well as the students. The program will be located in Deal, New Jersey, an upscale community on the New Jersey shore.
