The fifth season of "Fall for Dance," presented at City Center will run from September 17-27, once again at $10 for all seats. The line for tickets to this series usually extends from the box office on 55th Street, Manhattan to 7th Avenue before a performance. Advance tickets can be purchased at the box office and went on sale 8/6. Each performance features more than one company and is a good way to experience new forms of dance at low cost.

The Festival line-up includes a wide range from Hula to tap to Indian Odissi style as well as ballet and modern dance companies from across the U.S. and around the world. Each program presents more than one company.

All of the companies are on a high level of performance. Recommended are programs that include: Les Ballets Jazz of Montréal, Garth Fagan, BeijingDance,
LDTX of China, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Nacho Duato's Compañia de Danza from Spain and San Francisco Ballet.

Other companies include: Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and artists from Paris, Taiwan, Argentina, Israel, Thailand, the U.K., and The National Ballet of Canada. In all, 28 national and international companies and choreographers with 4 programs to be repeated will be part of the festival with resident NY City Center companies, American Ballet Theatre and Paul Taylor Dance Company, also represented.
