Jennifer Muller/The Works proudly announces its Featured Performance to open the annual
Contemporary Art Fair NYC and the American Craft Show NYC on Friday, November 18,
2011
at the Javits Center. The Works will present a 5pm program of dance excerpts from its
dynamic repertory, including Aria, Bench, Edge, Flowers, Hymn for Her, Momentum, Moon and Tangle.

For 38 years, contemporary dance company Jennifer Muller/The Works has applied a multidisciplinary
technique that weaves dance, theater and visual arts to create exhilarating dances that
celebrate and illuminate the human spirit. Artistic Director Jennifer Muller's creations are
evocative, passionate and engaging, and she is delighted for this opportunity to share the
company's artistry in cooperation with American Art Marketing.

Now in its second year, the Contemporary Art Fair NYC and the American Craft Show NYC
will run through Sunday, November 20, 2011, and will feature the work of more artists in its
second year. Richard Rothbard, director, states, "In addition to the work of established and
emerging painters, photographers, sculptors and artists working in mixed media — who represent
over half of the 175 exhibitors — the craft show will include recognized jewelry, furniture, fashion,
ceramics, glass, wood, metal and textile artisans to fill Hall 1A at the Javits Center, the weekend
before Thanksgiving."

One ticket opens both doors to the juried events produced by Richard and Joanna Rothbard of
American Art Marketing. The Rothbards, who have directed art fairs and craft shows for over 30
years, also produce the Berkshires Arts Festival and American Craft Show Sarasota and were
responsible for the winter Rockefeller Arts Festival in Manhattan [2002-2005]. They own
The American Craftsman Galleries, http://www.anamericancraftsman.com/, that showcase the
finest American art, sculpture and crafts on East and West sides of Manhattan as well as in
Massachusetts and Georgia. In addition, Richard Rothbard, a craftsman, designs wood boxes and
owns Boxology, www.boxology.com.
