An artistic encounter between Lyon-based choreographer Mourad Merzouki and a group of dancers from Brazil powers a sensational combination of athletic hip-hop, samba, and capoeira. Inspired by the dancers' stories of growing up in shantytowns, Merzouki created Correria and Agwa, a celebration of virtuosic dance and acrobatics, as well as irresistible personality and indomitable spirit. The dancers of Compagnie Käfig, returning to the Pillow for the first time in ten years, are sure to bring audiences to their feet.
