Young choreographer Aaron Atkins and his 17-member company, Ballet Inc., return to the Ailey Citigroup Theater with eight world premieres and two repertory dances by Atkins and company co-founder Edgar Peterson. A master at working with large ensembles, Atkins has assembled an outstanding group of dancers whose credits include the Bejart Ballet Lausanne, Miami Contemporary Dance, Eliot Feld's Ballet Tech, Elisa Monte Dance, and the American Swiss Ballet. An Evening with Ballet Inc. is also a rich musical experience, with works danced to Bach, Satie, Glass, Part, Little Dragon, FKA Twigs, Michael Gordon, Edith Piaf, and more.
