Stratus Chamber Orchestra joins forces once again with Fairview High School March 10 & 11, 2016 to bring you the sequel to Christopher Tin’s Calling All Dawns that was a blockbuster success. Stratus commissioned one of the selections in Tin’s new song cycle The Drop that Contained the Sea, giving the world premiere performance in 2014. Now we bring you the full work with chorus, dancers, film, and orchestra for a night of entertainment you’ll never forget.

This collaboration with Fairview High School involves the entire music department (choir, band, and orchestra) as well as visual art, dance and video/film. It is estimated that over 400 Fairview HS students are involved in this production! David Taylor and Zikr Dance Ensemble join this collaboration to choreograph the Fairview dance students for their portion of the program.
