Peridance Contemporary Dance Company is returning for their annual New York Spring Season at the Salvatore Capezio Theater at Peridance Capezio Center.

The Company is ecstatic to present a brand new program of two World Premieres by Artistic Director Igal Perry and Guest Choreographer, Marlena Wolfe and company repertoire choreographed by Jae Man Joo.

PCDC’s Spring season will be presented through two weekends of March 11th - 12th
and 18th - 19th, 2017.

This year’s Spring program will include the premiere of YOUnite, by acclaimed choreographer Marlena Wolfe, and company premiere of Gran Partita by Igal Perry, originally created on and performed by The Washington Ballet Studio Company in September 2016.

Included in this year’s program, is the Company’s revisiting of last season’s compelling piece, Into the Light by Korean-born choreographer Jae Man Joo, originally commissioned and performed by The Ailey
School in 2015. Also premiering, is Perry’s Dia-Mono-Logues, a captivating new piece that explores the ways in which
people subconsciously project their own prejudices and preconceived notions onto others, affecting every interaction
and relationship. The work speaks to the bridging of cultural differences and stems from Perry’s own experience emigrating from Israel in the turbulent 1970s, navigating the cultural shift while establishing an identity as an artist in New York City; furthermore speaking into the ironic and heavy shifts occurring in today’s society and the world.
