I attended Jennifer Muller's birthday party because I think her choreography is outstanding, her dancers are great, and she is a fabulous person. There was a cocktail party, and a short show with excerpts from Edge, Aria, Flowers, Lovers, arm in arm in arm… and Island. The event took place in the Roberto Dutesco Gallery, which is filled with amazing prints of horses (that inspired Island). During the performance, I was struck by how the dancers reached a very full extension, and maintained control and precision even when extended.

The event was just wonderful and was very well attended (standing room only for the performance).
