NEW YORK - "November Mosaic" is Gehring Dancetheatre's newest creation, a concert of dance filled with contemporary modern pieces choreography by artistic director, Heather Gehring, with additional numbers by veteran member, Jamie Harrison and new member, Sarah Vaaler. "November Mosaic" is divided into individual pieces which mesh together to create a breathtaking and unique painting of different styles of movement. Featured dancers include Corey Bliss, Rachel Burt, Jennifer Dorman, Emily Edwards, Heather Gehring, Jamie Harrison, Molly Morris, Jessica Speer, Sarah Vaaler, and special guest, ballroom star Lou Brock. Gehring Dancetheatre was created by Heather Gehring in 2003 in an effort to spread the knowledge and love of movement to all audiences, especially those who may never before have been introduced to dance. Gehring Dancetheatre has its artistic roots in ballet, but has evolved into the realms of modern, partnering, acrobatics, and even ballroom dance. Locally, Gehring Dancetheatre has performed at HATCH, Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Union Square, with Dance New Jersey, and most recently, at White Wave's DUMBO Dance Festival. "November Mosaic" runs Nov. 14th-16th. Times are: 11/14: 7:30p, 11/15: 7:30p, 11/16: 4:00p & 7:30p. Tickets are $20 in adv. and $25 at the door.
