Steps on Broadway, one of New York's premiere dance studios, is pleased to announce that the Steps Beyond Foundation, its educational and presenting program, has received non-profit status, enabling the organization to provide more services and support to the artistic community.

Established over ten years ago, Steps Beyond will expand its scholarship program; choreographers' commissions for the resident Steps Repertory Company; Community Outreach; producing series (the latest was Francesca Harper in her "The Look of Feeling"); its Artists Talk series (recent Talks were "the Women of Fosse," featuring 3 Fosse dancers; "Getting A Job," with reps of talent agencies, casting directors and choreographers; and "Hear It From The Pros," with Donna McKechnie, Grover Dale and Randy Skinner in a discussion on how to survive, thrive and stay relevant in the competitive world of Broadway, and many more events to educate and prepare students for well-rounded and intelligently managed careers in dance.
