The heartfelt joy of the holiday season takes the stage in style at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre as Santa and his friends celebrate the 24th annual production of A Beef & Boards Christmas. Sure to make the season bright, A Beef & Boards Christmas is a glittering array of performances that celebrate all that makes the holidays special. And it will be a particularly sentimental year for Deb Wims as she rejoins Kenny Shepard to co-host the show one last time before relocating out-of-state with her family. “The Christmas show is my heart and soul at Beef & Boards. It is home to me,” Wims said. “It is a huge part of my life there. Performing in it every year with Kenny at my side is just so natural, comfortable and fun. The holidays aren't complete unless I’m onstage with all my dear friends at The Beef. I am giddy when November rolls around and we start rehearsals. Sometimes I have to take a moment to appreciate how lucky I am to have the opportunity to do this every year!” Deb and Kenny will be joined by Kendra Lynn Lucas, who returns as the featured vocalist famous for her passionate performance of “O Holy Night.” This year’s quartet of principal singers welcomes back Peter Scharbrough, Betsy Norton and Cara Statham Serber from the 2015 production. Kyle Durbin rounds out the quartet, returning to the show after eight years. The Beef & Boards Orchestra, led by musical director Kristy Templet, has its own time in the spotlight as it’s featured onstage, playing throughout the production. A tribute to the military honors all who have served, and children will delight when Rudolph, the Chipmunks, the Grinch and Santa take the stage. Plus they’ll get to tell Santa their most special wishes when they have the opportunity to meet him during intermission. A Beef & Boards Christmas is on stage for 34 performances through Dec. 23 in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.
